Our partnerships

We believe that by working in partnership we can help more people tackle their debt and manage their money with confidence. We work with a range of organisations across the debt and credit sectors.

The debt and credit environment

We work with a range of organisations that have a role to play in the debt and credit environment.

The partners we work with range from government departments and large banks to small charities and volunteer debt advice providers.

The Money and Pensions Service

We work closely with the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS), the arm’s-length body sponsored by the Department for Work and Pensions that leads on matters relating to financial capability and debt advice.

This work includes ensuring delivery of high-quality free debt advice services to individuals in problem debt and self-employed people and small business owners in financial difficulty.

Our Wiseradviser service, which trains the free-to-client debt advice sector is funded by MaPS. We work closely develop new training courses and resources for the advice sector. Wiseradviser supports advisers and advice agencies in the delivery of free debt advice. We train 85% of the free-to-client debt advice sector.

Our work with creditors

We also work with a range of different creditors to support people in problem debt and to improve the money and credit environment.
