We are committed to a programme of research which enhances understanding of the debt and credit environment and practically improves money advice.
We’ve been campaigning for fundamental bailiff reform since 2017
Influencing policy
We use our expertise and evidence from our services to influence policy and practice. Our aim is to improve the UK’s money and debt environment for the benefit of people and small businesses in financial difficulty.
Government debt and bailiff reform
We are working hard to improve fairness in government debt management, by presenting evidence from our services, developing recommendations for change and working directly with central and local government.
MP Constituency Hub
We run National Debtline, a free debt advice service. Our National Debtline MP Constituency Hub provides dedicated information and resources, to support MPs to help constituents in financial difficulty. There’s also constituency data and information to help MPs raise debt issues in Parliament.
