The latest UK Consumer Prices Index (CPI) figures, published today by the Office for National Statistics, show that CPI rose to 10.1 percent in the twelve months to September, up from 9.9 percent in August.
“The sustained impact of high prices for food, fuel and energy are already taking its toll on millions of households – and today’s rise in inflation shows there is no let-up in sight.
